Associate Lecturer at Curtin University. Interested in Macro-Finance, Monetary Economics, and Financial Economics.
Welcome! I am an Associate Lecturer at Curtin University, Bentley, Australia, where I completed my PhD in Economics and Finance in 2026. My research sits at the intersection of macro-finance, monetary economics and central banking, and financial economics, applying advanced econometrics and machine learning to questions in finance — what I think of as financial data science. I have published on the transmission and effectiveness of monetary policy, banking stability, and the behaviour of financial markets, including fintech and cryptocurrency markets. Alongside my research, I teach data science and analytics at Curtin.
Before my Ph.D., I worked in industry as a an Economist for Tramontina, managing the company's business in Ghana, Liberia, Gambia, Guinea Bissau and Togo. I also worked as a Economist for some trading companies in Ghana. I have a Master of Science degree in Economics from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology and a Master of Philosophy in Finance from the University of Ghana where I had my Bachelor of Science degree in Administration (Accounting).
